Have yourself a merry little…

Christmas and Yule have been and past, and we’re still at ‘home’ – in the place we were both born. I’ve spent the day procrastinating like nothing on earth – there’s no reason for it other than I can’t really concentrate, on anything. That might change tonight, once I’ve met up with freinds, but for the moment, my brain is just tricking through everything that’s been going through my head – putting it in some semblance of order so that I can write when we get back.
Its been nice to be home though – Edinburgh is a gorgeous and more importantly, inspirational place. I’ve collected images, and ideas, ideals and sobering pain for my stories – they whisper to me from the closes, and sidestreets, and let me dream, and understand where my dreams can take me. Another piece of the jigsaw clicks back into place, or rearrange themselves around another key image, another word.
I hope everyone has had a wonderful christmas and are looking forward to the New Year to come.
