Pipes, blogs, breaking the server…and being a writer

There is a lot to be said about being a writer. A lot more to be said about being techie nutcase.
So yesterday, I was going through my domains. I applied for a few jobs, but I needed to get all of my domains sorted into some semblance of order, and decide how to get use them, and which I could just flat out sell.
Once I’d done that, I went back to a puzzle that I’ve been wrestling with for about a year – how to put all of my feeds into one single feed – or in this case ‘feeds’.
Something came up in my feed list the other morning that helped me in this goal. It takes a bit of fiddling, but I can live with that.
So I’ll be showing off a new site this week – and adding a couple of new feeds to the places that need them – I’m a fairly profilic writer, so it might be up to 10 posts a day that end up on that feed, but having said that, its always going to be at least one.
I’ll also be adding it to livejournal, and making sure that the other feeds I have are set up too – because I don’t – really – promote my feeds as well as I should.
Writer wise, I’m going to spend the rest of the weekend doing writing. I’ve got stuff downloading to do design stuff in the rest of the week, and while I’m between classes waiting for lecturers ‘etc’. Which means I need to start taking the laptop with me and a rucksack for books too. Monday is going to be fun, cause I have a dozen books to take back to the library, and FOUR essays to hand in. Errr…colour me vaguely panicked.
Anyway, that’s me so far. Cause of the playing I did yesterday, there are no posts or twitters elsewhere to share.
