I challenged a close freind of mine, Keith to a writing ‘duel’ of sorts.

And I thought I’d open it up to others.

There’s a site called ‘Duotrope’ which lists themed guidelines in thier database.  As this is the first challenge of the new year, I thought I’d at least make sure that it was reasonably easy to do;).  Most of these guidelines appear to be paying, so those of you looking to earn something from your writing also have no reason not to join in.

First up - comment here (http://kaiskorner.com/thechallenge) and let me know you’re taking part - this is important cause  its always nice to see who is involved.

Second - pick a set of guidelines - or more sets - that you wanna enter and email me that you’ve picked, and WHICH you’ve picked to guideline@kaiberie.com

Submit and let me know - if you get accepted, let me know too.  I’m not basing the prize for this on whether you’re accepted - just on whomever picks guidelines AND comments at KaisKorner - you have to submit though, for which reason, I’m asking that you pick a deadline before April 1st, which is when I’ll draw this prize.  First round (entry) closes March 1st.
